Rosas Brasileiras: Farol Santander SP
The unprecedented exhibition "Rosas Brasileiras" (Brazilian Roses) celebrates the rose's trajectory as an artistic inspiration and a living part of everyday life, curated by Giancarlo Latorraca and Paulo Von Poser.
"The proposal is to learn about the origin of the rose flower, its appearance as a human creation, as an industrial product and the most diverse manifestations of its presence in our lives, especially highlighting its existence in Brazil. From handicrafts to industry, from three-dimensional reproductions to prints, from perfumery to music, from poetic representation to the streets, from domestic docility to religious worship," explains Paulo Von Poser, artist and curator of the exhibition.
Panmela Castro participates in the exhibition with two works from the series " Women of color don't receive flowers".
