Overview
Retratos Relatos (HerStory) deals with the confrontation of domestic violence against women and addresses the topics of "Women's History," "Structural Machismo," "Gender Construction," "Maria da Penha Law," "Call 180," and the five types of domestic violence: moral, patrimonial, sexual, physical, and psychological.
During the residency, Panmela Castro painted portraits of women who shared their stories of subverting pain. These canvases, exhibited for the first time at Sesc Santa Rita, will be shown throughout Brazil at Sesc units.
